Senior Health Consultants was founded in 1999 by Columbia, SC based physician, Dr. Keith A. Guest.  Dr. Guest was working as a Geriatrician in Columbia and was astounded to see the unfilled need for home based care for our seniors.

Whether the need arises due to Dementia, Ambulatory Problems, Transportation Issues - the solution is the same. Physicians that treat the patient at home.

Dr. Guest graduated from the University of South Carolina's School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa.  Dr. Guest is a graduate of Palmetto Richland's Geriatric Fellowship Program and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Care.

Dr. Guest partnered with his wife, Stephanie Guest, a pharmacist, to bring home based care to Columbia. Stephanie was working as a home infusion pharmacist and is currently serving as Director of Operations for Senior Health.

David Miller received his Masters Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and completed a Geriatric Fellowship at the University of Tennessee's College of Medicine.   David joined Senior Health in 2004.  He has completed post graduate seminars at Harvard University, UCLA, the University of California - San Diego and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. David's main interests and focus are Alzheimer's Disease, preventive interventions, epidemiology, caregiver's stress and end of life palliative care.

Jennifer Phillips received her Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina's College of Nursing. Jennifer joined Senior Health in January 2005. Jennifer has quickly developed a love for geriatrics and is our heart and diabetes specialist.
